Liquor Commission Meeting

Meeting duration is approximate. 

Due to the expiration of Governor Ige's COVID-19 Emergency Proclamation, members of the public attending in person are encouraged to face mask, physical distance, and sanitize, pursuant to Civil Defense guidance released March 24, 2022, County of Hawai‘i Coronavirus Best Practices, Living with Coronavirus in Our Community.

Public Testimony may be done in person, virtually via Zoom, or in writing by email, fax, or mail. 

To register for Zoom, email request to:  cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov by 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting with the following information:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Organization
  • Cell / Email
  • Purpose (Observe, Protest, or Testify)
  • Agenda item submitting for protest or testimony

To ensure timely delivery to the Commission, written testimony must be received by 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting by:  

  1. Email:  cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov
  2. Fax:  (808) 961-8684;  OR
  3. Mail:  Department of Liquor Control, 101 Aupuni Street, Unit 230, Hilo, HI 96720. 

Indicate agenda item submitting for; submit separate testimony for each item.  All written testimony regardless of time of receipt will be part of the permanent record.

For anyone requiring auxiliary aid/service or other reasonable accommodation due to a disability, call the Department of Liquor Control at (808) 961-8218 or email: cohdlc@hawaiicounty.gov, no later than five (5) business days prior to the meeting to request accommodations.  If the request is not received in a timely manner, we cannot guarantee the request will be fulfilled.
