To continue the County and Planning Department's efforts to go digital, we are replacing the RPR (Request for Public Record) form with public access to the GIS system. Form applications are no longer being accepted, as the same information is accessible through the GIS link listed below.

The site makes it quick and easy for all users to gather and print the property information immediately, rather than making a form-based request via the RPR (Request for Public Record).

A brief, step-by-step GIS tutorial is listed below. The tutorial provides basic guidance to gather required and optional information, but users should feel free to explore the site further to review the full functionality of the GIS system.  See details below.

TIP!: When searching for TMK, use the full TMK number without the (3 at the front).
Or use the street address, if known.  Example: 101 Pauahi Street

Example: if the TMK is 3220150330000, only use 220150330000

Instruction Guide:

1.  ATTENTION Please read, as this GIS site is intended as a guide, not an exact GPS overlay.  Check the box in the lower left to agree to the terms and conditions.  Click ‘OK’ in the lower right corner.

2. Type your address or TMK number (do not include the number 3, at the beginning of the TMK).  When the address or TMK appears, near the red arrow labeled below, click to choose.

3.

3. The system will identify the property, as seen below.
1) Click ‘Zoom To’ in the information box.  This will zoom in closer to the address or TMK.
2) On the left side, choose the ‘Layers’ icon

4. In the Layers screen, choose the down arrows to expand each item. In this case, we want to see the Zoning for this property. Be sure all Zoning boxes are checked.  The result appears on the screen, as indicated by the green arrow. (ex. Zoning = CG-7.5)

5. Each attribute can be viewed individually or collectively.  As seen below, we already have the Zoning selected (CG-7.5), and now we select all boxes under Parcels to show the TMK number of this address.  Continue through the other attributes to add, or view the desired information.  Examples include:  SMA, State Land Use District, General Plan Designation, Formerly Used Defense Sites, and other Optional Fields.

You may also view the official Zone Maps, which are organized by regions of the island.
